Civic Medal 1st class

The Civic Medal, First Class, is a Belgian honour awarded in recognition of notable civil merit. This large model is crafted in solid fine silver (.999) with gilded finish and faithfully follows the official specifications, making it a prestigious and high-quality version of the decoration.

The medal consists of a four-armed cross with broad ends, with the arms decorated by fine engraved detailing. The central medallion bears the monogram “L” (Leopold II) in silver in relief. The medal is suspended from a plain solid silver loop and attached to a moiré ribbon in red with black stripes, the traditional colours of the Belgian Civic Decorations.
