Commander Order of Leopold Military

The commander distinction in solid fine silver (.999) of the Order of Leopold, military division, is the exclusive version for collectors and ceremonial occasions. Entirely made of solid silver with high-quality enamel finishes, it offers a prestigious appearance and exceptional durability.

The design follows that of the standard version: a white-enamelled cross with gilded borders and green enamelled laurel wreaths, a central black enamel medallion with the gilded Belgian lion, and a dark red enamel ring bearing the bilingual national motto “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE – EENDRACHT MAAKT MACHT”.

The gilded royal crown and the crossed swords highlight the military nature of the distinction.

The commander distinction is worn on a 50 mm wide purple moiré neck ribbon.
