Civic Medal 2nd class

The miniature of the Civic Medal, Second Class, is a reduced-size version of the official award, intended for occasions when a more discreet form is appropriate. This model is produced in silvered metal and faithfully follows the official specifications.

The small medal is a four-armed cross with broad ends, highlighted with fine engraved decoration. The central medallion bears the monogram “L” (Leopold II) in silvered relief. The miniature is suspended from a simple loop and attached to a moiré ribbon in red with black stripes, the traditional colours of the Belgian Civic Decorations.
