Commander Order of Leopold

The Commander’s Decoration in the Order of Leopold, large model in fine silver, is a prestigious distinction symbolising exceptional merit and dedication. Traditionally worn around the neck, this large model is crafted from premium materials with meticulous attention to detail and fine workmanship.

The decoration features the characteristic Maltese cross with white enamelled arms and, at its centre, the Belgian royal coat of arms. Surrounding the central medallion is a green enamelled wreath composed of laurel leaves (symbolising honour and victory) and oak leaves (symbolising strength and steadfastness). The ring around the coat of arms bears the inscriptions “L’Union Fait La Force” and “Eendracht maakt macht”, expressing the national motto in both languages.

Above the cross rests a finely detailed gilded royal crown in relief, giving the decoration a regal appearance. The piece is suspended from a wide purple moiré ribbon, providing an elegant and distinguished finish.
