Officer Order of the Crown

This decoration represents the rank of Officer in the Belgian Order of the Crown, produced in reduced size (small model) and crafted in metal. The reduced version is a faithfully detailed reproduction of the original, intended for less formal occasions or for everyday wear with civilian attire.

The badge consists of an eight-pointed white enamel cross with a gold-coloured border and bundles of rays between the arms. At its centre is a blue enamel medallion featuring a gold crown, surrounded by a fine edging. Above the cross is a green enamel laurel wreath, attached to a bordeaux red moiré ribbon with rosette, indicating the officer’s rank.

This metal version is lighter and less costly than the solid silver edition, while still retaining all the distinctive features of the Belgian order.
