Military Medal 2nd class

The reduction of the Military Medal Second Class – French-language version is the miniature form of the official Belgian decoration. The obverse shows the Belgian lion, surrounded by the French motto “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE”.

The reduction is suspended from a 16 mm moiré ribbon in Belgium’s national colours red, yellow, and black. For the Second Class, the ribbon is not fitted with a metallic chevron, making the grade easily identifiable.
