Medal for Services Rendered

The slide of the Medal for Services Rendered consists of the original ribbon in bright yellow with five thin black stripes, mounted on a small metal holder with pins and butterfly clasps at the back. The slide is a practical version of the ribbon, worn on the uniform in place of the full-size medal. If the recipient has several decorations, the slides can be worn side by side on the holder.
