Medal Carnegie Hero Fund

The slide of the Carnegie Hero Fund Medal consists of the original ribbon in red moiré with multiple white stripes and blue edging, mounted on a narrow metal base.

The slide is a practical version of the ribbon, designed to be placed on a slide holder. This holder, fitted with pins and butterfly clasps at the back, allows the slide to be worn on the uniform. If the recipient has several decorations, multiple slides can be arranged side by side on the same holder. (Slide holder not included.)
