Civic Medal 1st class - Fire department

The miniature of the Civic Medal First Class – Fire Brigade (solid fine silver version, .999) is a reduced-size version of the official large model. The medal is crafted in silver as a four-armed cross and features at its centre the monogram “L” of King Leopold II in gilded relief.

It is attached by a simple ring suspension and worn from a green moiré ribbon with two white stripes, the traditional ribbon identifying the award for fire brigade services. Compared to the standard metal version, the silver miniature offers higher quality, greater collector’s value, and the lasting refinement of a precious metal finish.
