Civic Cross Courage and Devotion 2nd class

This ribbon for the Civic Cross for Courage and Devotion – 2nd Class is a discreet version of the Belgian civic decoration awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional courage and self-sacrifice in saving lives or performing heroic acts.

The moiré ribbon is made in the official colours of the decoration: red with black stripes edged with fine yellow lines. Attached to the ribbon is a miniature of the 2nd Class cross, executed in silver-coloured metal with white enamel, clearly indicating the grade.

The ribbon is folded into a triangular lapel ribbon and mounted on a sturdy metal base that slides through the buttonhole of the lapel and is secured at the back with the foldable part of the base. Ideal for wearing the decoration in a discreet and elegant way on civilian attire.
