Decoration Cooperation 2nd class

The Distinction Cooperation 2nd Class is an official award conferred in recognition of active commitment to cooperative initiatives and collaborative structures. This grade highlights the importance of collective organization and solidarity, and honours members who have made a valuable contribution to the development and strengthening of cooperatives and the defense of common interests.

The distinction takes the form of a silver-coloured enamelled cross with blue arms, encircled by a wreath of green enamelled oak and laurel branches accented with red. At its centre is a silver emblem, surrounded by a red band bearing the inscription “Coopération – Samenwerking”. The decoration is surmounted by a silver royal crown, underlining its official status.

It is suspended from a moiré ribbon in the Belgian national colours of black, yellow, and red. Unlike the 1st Class, the ribbon bears no rosette. The distinction is worn on the left breast, attached by the rectangular ribbon.
