Knight Order of Leopold Military

The knight’s cross of the Order of Leopold, military division, reduced model in metal, Dutch-language version. This smaller model is worn on a purple moiré ribbon without rosette. The cross is made of gilt metal with white enamel arms and features at its centre a black medallion with the Belgian lion and the motto “Eendracht maakt macht”. Surrounding the cross is a green enamelled laurel wreath with red accents. Above the cross are two crossed swords, surmounted by a royal crown.

This is the military version, identifiable by the crossed swords. Execution in metal (not solid silver).

The uniform bars (slides) and ribbons of the Knight of the Order of Leopold, military division, are the same as those of the Knight of the Order of Leopold, civil division. You can order these there.
