Knight Order of Leopold Maritime

The Knight’s Cross of the Order of Leopold, maritime division, large model in metal. This insignia is worn from a purple moiré ribbon without rosette.

The cross is executed in gilded metal with white enameled arms and bears at its center a black medallion with the Belgian lion and the circular legend “L’union fait la force – Eendracht maakt macht.” The cross is surrounded by a green laurel wreath with red accents.

Above the cross are crossed anchors surmounted by the royal crown.

This is the maritime division, recognizable by the crossed anchors. Execution in metal (not solid silver).

The uniform slides and ribbon bars of the Knight in the maritime division of the Order of Leopold are identical to those of the civil Knight and can be ordered there as well.
