Knight Order of Leopold II

The grade of Knight in the Order of Leopold II is one of the distinctions within this Belgian order of chivalry. This version is crafted in high-quality metal, silvered and finished with fine enamelling.

The knight’s cross displays at its centre a black enamelled medallion bearing the Belgian lion in relief, surrounded by a dark blue enamelled ring with the national motto “L’UNION FAIT LA FORCE – EENDRACHT MAAKT MACHT”. The whole is topped with a silvered royal crown.

The decoration is suspended from a blue moiré ribbon with a central black stripe.
