Silver Palms Order of the Crown

The ribbon for the Silver Palms of the Belgian Order of the Crown is worn on the lapel of civilian attire as a discreet sign of the awarded distinction. Made with a metal base covered with bordeaux red moiré ribbon with white edges, and featuring a silver miniature of the palms at the centre.
Attachment is achieved by slightly bending the metal base, allowing the ribbon to grip securely in the buttonhole without the use of a pin or butterfly clutch.
