Medal 'NATO Kosovo'

The NATO Medal “Kosovo” (large model) is an international military decoration, established by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). It was awarded to military personnel and certain civilians who, since 1999, have taken part in NATO operations in Kosovo, including the KFOR peacekeeping force and related missions in the region.

The decoration is a round bronze medal. On the obverse is the NATO emblem: a four-pointed compass rose within a circle, surrounded by a laurel wreath representing valour, merit and collective effort.

The medal is suspended from a dark blue moiré ribbon, featuring a broad vertical white central stripe, flanked by two narrower white stripes at either side. This ribbon design specifically identifies the NATO Medal “Kosovo” and distinguishes it from other NATO awards.
