Medal "CSDP ATALANTA"

This medal refers to EUNAVFOR Operation ATALANTA, the European Union’s maritime military operation launched in 2008 under the Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). The operation contributes to maritime security in the western Indian Ocean and the Red Sea. Its core tasks include protecting vulnerable vessels, preventing and combating piracy and armed robbery at sea, and countering illegal maritime activities.
