Commemorative medal Foreign Operations or Missions

The Commemorative Medal for Foreign Missions or Operations (miniature) is the reduced version of this official Belgian decoration. It is intended to be worn on occasions where a smaller version of the medal is customary or prescribed.

The miniature consists of a small round bronze medal, attached to a yellow moiré ribbon, edged with two black stripes each containing a fine green stripe. The design follows the large model, showing the Belgian coat of arms with the crowned lion and the inscription “FOREIGN MISSIONS OR OPERATIONS – BUITENLANDSE OPDRACHTEN OF OPERATIES”.
