Slide Grand Officer Order of Merit

This slide (uniform ribbon bar) for a Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg) is made from authentic moiré ribbon in the official colours of the order: red with narrow white and blue stripes on each side.

At the centre of the ribbon is a moiré ribbon rosette, placed on a gold and silver galloon stripe, characteristic of the Grand Officer grade. This combination clearly highlights the higher rank within the order while elegantly showcasing the distinctive ribbon pattern.

The slide is mounted on a separate metal base that slides onto the ribbon bar holder (uniform holder). The holder with pins and butterfly clutch is not included. Ideal for formal occasions when the decoration is worn on a uniform in a neat and discreet manner.
