Grand Cross Order of Merit

This miniature of the Grand Cross grade of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg (Ordre de Mérite du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg) is a reduced-size version of the official decoration, intended for formal occasions where miniature decorations are worn.

The decoration features the order’s characteristic ribbon, made from authentic red moiré ribbon with narrow white and blue stripes on both sides. A moiré ribbon rosette mounted on a gold-coloured galloon denotes the grade of Grand Cross, the highest rank within the order.

Its compact size allows this miniature decoration to be worn elegantly and discreetly during ceremonial and formal occasions.
