Medal Laureate of Labour - bronze

This reduction of the Laureate of Labour Decoration – Bronze is made of bronzed and gilt metal, with enamelled details. It is part of the Belgian distinction Élite du Travail / Eliten van de Arbeid, which rewards outstanding professional skill and dedication.

The insignia is designed as a stylised torch with a green flame, symbolising enlightenment, knowledge and labour. The shaft is decorated with gilded wheat ears, representing the fruits and dignity of labour. At the base is a small green laurel wreath, a sign of honour and recognition.

The decoration is suspended from a dark brown ribbon, edged with red stripes.
