Emeritus-Honorary Dean of Labour

This reduction of the Emeritus – Honorary Dean of Labour Decoration is made of metal with gilt parts. The decoration belongs to the Belgian distinction Élite du Travail / Eliten van de Arbeid, which rewards outstanding professional skill and exceptional dedication.

The insignia consists of an openwork green enamelled laurel wreath, a symbol of honour and recognition. At the base are a black enamel anvil and a red hammer, representing labour and craftsmanship.

On each side of the hammer are gilded wheat ears, symbolising the fruits of labour and the prosperity it brings. Together with the laurel wreath, they form a harmonious composition where work and merit are central.

The whole is suspended from a red ribbon, edged with black and yellow stripes, reflecting the Belgian national colours.
